When I was younger, I was told that education will show large differences in life and language will serve as a key to success. At that time, I was not sure whether I understood its meaning. However, I have had opportunities to experience different systems of education and use languages in real life. In line to this, I now truly know what course I should pursue. I admire the fact that it provides bigger change to all children and it enables a person to work in confidential settings with individuals appropriately.
I have done a research on types of scholarship offer in Hong Kong and I feel that Belt and Road Scholarship will best suit me and provide me an opportunity to study in Hong Kong and accomplish my goal of further education specially in the programs I submitted my application. I have prepared my after-graduation plans to become a teacher or professor with class-management skill and ability to offer a more flexible and motivational teaching to students.
In the previous years, I have been to the United States as an exchange student in Idaho. I had experienced diverse cultures. Owing to that, I was able to overcome a problem of language barrier. Variety of classes in the school made me feel the real flexibility and inspiration from education. I grew interest in communication and education. Moreover, I had some chances to meet school counsellors during the passing of the late king of Thailand and some class selection. Thanks to their capabilities to cope with students’ mind, I have developed my curiosity about psychology. In the recent year, I participated in an academic exchange program in Japan and a language and cultural exchange program in England.
I am currently enrolled as a final year student at [redacted] High School. In accordance to science school curricula, I had done science research focusing on natural sweetener called “Monk Fruit Sweetener” to develop my scientific skills. I received certificates of recognition in academic excellence and improvement two years in roll. I have been maintaining my GPA in a good level. With my eagerness to learn both in and outside class, I have been participating in most of school activities apart from the educational ones. I was selected to be a member of Student Council academic year 2019/2020.
Besides, I participated in two voluntary works organized by Thailand Volleyball Association for Volleyball Nations League 2018 and 2019. In 2018, I volunteered as a liaison officer for Dominican Republic team and a fan service crew in 2019. When I was in USA, I joined Key Club which was a service club and participated in two major campaigns which are UNICEF donation for maternal and child vaccination and Pop tab campaign. All I have mentioned earlier have fostered me and grown me up to be this young man. They turn out as my aspiration to a pursuit of education and career.
My academic goal is to obtain a scholarship offer to study in my chosen programs with the understanding that I am still leaving my options open in a broad field. After graduation, I would like to be able to continue my master’s degree in related major or apply for a job in educational institute in Hong Kong and Thailand. I believe that I can strengthen my capabilities to be a little step to make change in education. I truly aspire that my application will be take into a sincere consideration and I look forward to seeing the offer from the University of Hong Kong.
