To be handpicked as a candidate for the National Honor Society is a special honor for me, Given this opportunity means I can gratefully check off another major goal that demonstrates my determination and willingness to help serve a community. I am certain that I could be a worthy member of NHS due to my dedicated reliability. Earning consistent high grades along ranking status serve as evidence that my characteristics will help meet all the expectations of a key factor in the society. Apan from constantly studying to reach that perfect GPA, I also work towards developing leadership skills joining any club I can juggle. The National Honor Society was established to recognize exceptional high school students.
This society provides constant opportunities for students to build leadership skills. Being a member proves one’s commitment to community service while maintaining outstanding academic achievements. This society is more than just an organization where “brainy” students come together It is where several potential leaders can network off each other trying to make a change in the community. As a society that runs to help improve the community, there should be more recognition of our actions. Becoming active on social networks does go a long way. Not only does it bring increased attention to the events we do, but it showcases just how diligently our members are working to better the community.
Consequently, it can also lead to motivate others to volunteer around the community. With this being needed. I can be a valuable asset for reason being I can help organize more events and be able to work with these social media platforms. Assuming I am selected to be in NHS, I could funher to the continued growth and success of the society by helping in organizing extra community service events to broaden the opportunities for students. Specifically, I would love to see more charitable events that not just serve as hours but give back to the community; events such as the Thanksgiving Food drive.
