Every day five thousand pounds (2300 kg or 350 turkeys) of food were sent to the trash bin!With this, it was necessary to do something, and they came up with an amazing solution in their simplicity – the trays were removed from the dining room. Students could still take as much food as they want, but without trays.
The amount of food waste was reduced by exactly half, and the students, as before, left full. The thing is that now they carefully approached the choice of food, and did not collect everything on a “just in case, suddenly want. “The conclusion suggests itself: it is possible to solve the problem of food waste. Choose a refrigerator under your real food basket, and not huge, so that neighbors are jealous.
