In the book The Outsider’s there are two types of fractions, they are Greasers and Sec In the novel The Outsiders by SE Hinton, the author states” You take up for Your buddies, no matter what they do, When you’re in a gang, you stick up for them, stick Together make like brothers, it isn’t a gang anymore It’s a pack, A snarling, distrustful, bickering pack like the Soc’s in their social clubsm” (Hinton26)i l-linton‘s perspective on loyalty is many people can stick together without the need for money. Hinton’s perspective is developed throughout the novel when it shows how the Greasers will do for each other when the Greasers will protect each other better than the Soc’s, and the Greasers will cover each other no matter what, The Greasers will do anything for each other because they are loyal to each others.
According to the text Two»bit will do anything for Johnny and the Greasers..,” (HintonBB) This quote means that Two»bit will do anything for Johnny because he was going to go to Texas for him, Consequently shows that all Greasers would stick up for each other. Also, protect each other fromanyone or anything that will give them trouble, Loyalty is a major theme in the book The Outsiders by S.E Hinton because it shows how the Greasers are respectful and loyal to each other. The author shows the readers that there will be someone that will be there for you no matter what. The novel shows that Barry did not leave his brothers named Ponyboy or Sodapop even though their parents died in an automobile accident. This quote means all the Greasers are loyal to each other And will respect each other. Also to the people who are related to the Greasers and the people who are in the gang, Throughout the novel, SlE Hinton says about the greasers is they will not give up on each other like the Soc. Also, protect each other from people who try to be mean to their buddies or family. In the real world, there will be someone there to protect you when someone is being meant to you. Also even when you don’t expect it someone will protect you.
