I feel that with all the movies being produced these days everyone or at least a large amount of people are intrigued with what we call super humans. We have all heard of Superman, Batman, and Spiderman, but there is one hero that I’m most fascinated with. He has no powers, he doesn’t have above average strength or fighting capabilities. All that he has is his intelligence. Along with being highly intelligent he is also a billionaire weapons designer. I’m talking of course about Tony Stark also known as Iron Man. There are currently three Iron Man movies.
All of which I think are incredible. The movies all revolve around one character, and they kind of follow him through life. That character is named Tony Stark. The role of Tony Stark is played by the one, and only Robert Downey Jr. Tony is a billion dollar weapons designer. He is also very immature, and childish for his age. In the very first Iron Man movie the thought of Iron Man didn’t even exist at first. Tony Stark is a very wealthy, and popular man. After a presentation of his newly developed Jericho missile he was on his way home when the Humvee he was riding in was attacked.
The terrorists that attacked the convoy kidnapped Tony, and held him captive so he would build them a Jericho missile. While being held captive in this cave Tony began thinking of ways to escape to his freedom. After a very long time he devised a plan to build a never before thought of highly developed suit of armor. After weaponing the suit Tony proceeded to execute his plan. After fighting his way through the cave he finally made it outside. Then he was able to fly far enough away from the camp that he was finally safe.
He crash landed in the desert and began walking. Hoping that someone would come for him. After hours the military, and his friend James Rhodes came to his rescue. After that brutal encounter with terrorists Tony Stark strove to improve his weapons while secretly improving on his suit. After a long time he was able to revise the suit. He made it stronger, smaller, and faster. He even upgraded its flying capabilities. Tony used his newly developed suit to protect the country, and he did so very well.
He was one of the few who had no powers at all. Just the intelligence, and motivation to better themselves ant to protect others. I’ve been watching the Iron Man movies ever since the first one came out. I’ve always had a fascination with the character Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr does an incredible job of portraying the childish billionaire. A lot of people have seen the Iron Man movies, and for those who haven’t I would say it’s time to go out and watch them. They truly are a great series of movies for everybody no matter the age group.
