He wanted to attack the music business in a way that he once stated, “l don’t to be Just famous within the black community, I want the world. I want everything. “(Tour, 2013) Prince knew from the start what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go.
He has succeeded with hard work and talent but he also lived a life that prepared him to understand the generation X experiences. He wrote songs that would speak to the important things in the lives of the generation x era, such as their dreams, fears, longings and anxieties. “In announcing Prince’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (the ceremony s scheduled for March 15), the Hall itself summarizes its case thusly: “Self-produced since his debut at age 20, Prince is one of the most unpredictable as well as one of the most magnificently charismatic figures in the entire pop landscape.
