Victor E. Franklin once said, ” When we are no longer able to change a situation-we are challenged to change ourselves. ” I knew exactly what he meant when my life changed forever and there was nothing I could do. Since the moment my parents decided to move, my life took a whole new direction. The turning point of my life, moving from Mexico to the United States, brought many changes that I could not escape.
