I really want to participate in this scholarship and this course. I am fully confident that this course will be successful results for not only Division of World Heritage Sites but also my country and our generation. My Department also permits me to apply, and encourages staff to develop either our knowledge of international culture or how they safeguard heritage. I will take with me my interest, dedication, and a stalwart work idea. I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far in my life and see much of it as a stepping stone toward a successful future in the Archaeology and cultural heritage management world. I know that I need to expand my skilfulness set beyond its current level and I see the program offered at the Durham University, University of Sheffield and York University as the perfect way to do so. I chose MA Cultural Heritage Management course which aimed to develop my knowledge and practical skills to develop careers in heritage policy, management, conservation, learning, engagement and enterprise. There are essential training for professional roles throughout the sector.
In the short term strategy, I willing to enter to the similar profession improving for myself day by day. I am aware that the carrier development in Cultural Heritage Management. I see myself I will retake my responsibility at the Division of World Heritage Sites under the Department of Archaeology and National Museum. I will achieve to my goal in line with applying Master of International Cultural Heritage Management. For instance, I will apply my studied experiences and knowledge to the preparation of World Heritage Nomination and after nominated the sites such as Management planning, Nomination Dossier and PYUCOM, BAGAN COM, Mrauk-U COM meeting with the participation of international and national expert from specific committees.
In the long term plan, Pyu ancient cities World Heritage and the Bagan World heritage have the necessarily yet, although they inscribed to the World Heritage list. In Bagan Archaeological Region faced problem under modern pace of urban planning, the key problems of heritage values and their conservation are put at the boundary. That is mostly due to political complexity and lack of conservation and human resources. In this responsibility, I will build on my success with participation at the preparation of Myanmar’s tentative list to nominate to World Heritage Centre. And then, I will lead negotiations with international and national expert for our cultural heritage sites. I also have a plan to cooperate with overseas scholars from UK to present our visions on different cultural future incorporation and knowledge of the culture heritage management of UK government hence UK cultural heritage management is very successful such as conservation management, tourism and local development.
