After that Jerry tried his ‘hand’ in business. At one point he told himself that it was not for him. With his all American look Jerry also became a model of the ‘Look’ magazine. Then he returned to Michigan. There he got married to Elizabeth Bloomer. Elizabeth was a formed professional dancer.

He was having economical problem from the Nixon administration. Perhaps the most difficult problems facing G. R. Ford was the fall of South Vietnam and the hordes of refugees fleeing that country. The fall of Vietnam, however, was not the end of American’s involvement in South-East Asia.
He liked to be a President. In the long run he believed, this shift would bring a better life for all Americans. During his first fourteen months as President, he vetoed 39 measures.
