    What does this poem seem to be about? This poem seems to be about a break up many years ago. Words: Were the words in this poem difficult or easy to understand? Was there any word or phrase that was powerful to you? Most words were familiar, but for the ones I didn’t know I looked them up in the dictionary and got a better understanding of the sentence.     Yes, when we was describing the dew on the window I could see myself looking out the window to cold gloomy morning. I could always feel his pain, the way he describes his heart ache with so much pain. Figurative Language: What poetic devices were used in this poem? What did these poetic devices do for the poem? Did these devices help create imagery or communicate the author’s feelings? Every other sentence in the poem had rhyming words at the end. Emotion: What emotion was the author trying to express?     I agree with his message In the poem he was In love and torn out with heartbreak something happen which ended the relationship. The way the Author describes his broken heart and his look onto love now as cold and shilling. At the end he claims “If I should meet thee After long years, How should I greet thee? With silence and tears. ” His love for her is still there, but hidden deep under sorrow.
