Audience: Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen’s. Have you ever been picky on a type of item on the menu and one place would have it but another place wouldn’t have it.
There are a lot of good eating restaurant that we can choose from on the coast. Many people go to it due to it appearance, menu, service and prices, but some people are not all the same when it comes down to different type of meals on the menu. I have two restaurants in my essay that are worth a try: iHop and McDonald. They have some con and pro opinion about each other. Some people would rather eat at a friendly and family environment restaurant instead of a place that feel unfriendly. Although of its great customer service, afford price. And fast warm food, iHop is a better option to eat it than McDonald for people who want to eat something different instead of eating the same thing on the menu.
In the past, iHop and McDonald have had some negative impact due to lack of employees working and bad attitude Nobody would want to go out to eat where you aren’t going be able to get on time service and positive attitude all the time.
For this reason If I was a customer and had to choose between either restaurant to eat out for a special occasion, it is a good idea to go for iHop because the only time you going have an employee with a attitude if they look like they having a bad day but most of the time you will have a well respect employee servicing you unlike McDonald, you will have some employees who would come into work with a attitude and take it out of on innocent customers which isn’t the right way to service someone who bringing business to your company.
When working a restaurant, retail, or any type of job your responsibility is make sure the customers are happy and please by your service because the more service you give them the more they will keep coming back and bring you more customers.
In conclusion, the differences between the two restaurants are the prices. When it comes down to brining in customers it always going be the prices to do the job. Nobody would want to go to a restaurant and pay 30 dollars for 2 pieces of food I mean come on now who would want to do that just being honest. When it comes down to finding somewhere to eat at with a good price, McDonald would be the candidate right here because their prices are very reasonable and low plus they be having good deal like for buy 2 cheese burger for a dollar or buy one get one free deal. If you drive by a McDonald and look at the parking lot or drive through , you will see nothing but cars everywhere over wrap around the restaurant.
Some people don’t always be want to sit down due to the fact they stay on the move with work and school so they would stop by McDonald and get their meal ready to go and head on their way. But as for iHop, their prices are also low but not low enough specially not for one piece of meal. The lowest price they would have on the menu is 6 dollar and the highest price would be around 15 dollars depend on what you get. Some people who just want to sit down and eat their meal can do that at iHop since it in a sit inside restaurant.
Finally, when it come down the food menu from McDonald and iHop they is quite different on the amount of meals on the menus due to iHop menu having a large list to choose from plus different types of beverage and as for McDonald the menu only have 12 items to choose from plus 8 types of beverage .To be honest, if I had to choose between both of them I would choose iHop for this candidate because of the large options you can pick from the menu since McDonald only have small list of menus to choose from.
When it come down to the type of customer who come to the restaurant, you must make sure that the restaurant has what the customer are interest in and what they want to order. Both restaurants have different number of locations in the world. The company has 1,841 locations in the Americas and the Middle East. IHOP Express’ first location opened in 2011, they are a quick service version of the chain offered at locations such as airports, school campuses, military food courts, and travel centers. On the other hand McDonald locations are double the time largest than iHop with the fact that their company have been around longer than iHop in different country and is the world’s largest food restaurant chain in the food industrial. Serving over 69 million customers daily in over 100 countries across 37,855 outlets as of 2018. Although McDonald’s is best known for its hamburgers, cheeseburgers and french fries, they feature chicken products, breakfast items, soft drinks, milkshakes, wraps, and desserts. In response to changing consumer tastes and a negative backlash because of the unhealthiness of their food, the company has added to its menu salads, fish, smoothies, and fruit.(Wikipedia.org)
