Money, I bet I have your attention now? Hard working Americans areconsistently held down due to taxes.

There are many unnecessary taxes thatare taken from each individual every single year. The 15% sales taxconcept eliminates the frustration and confusion of the different kinds oftaxes, and creates more money for the federal government. This concept hasbeen overlooked year after year since its conception. This is a 15% salestax; a tax that takes 15% of all goods sold and gives it to our government.

Be aware of the fact that it is now 7. 75%; a lot of you may say, “7. 75% isway too much already”. The answer to that question is no, no it is not. That 15% sales tax goes directly to the federal government eliminating allincome tax in ones paycheck. Imagine seeing your paycheck without taxestaken out of it.

It seems almost unimaginable to me; now we can imagineit. What does every employee constantly complain about every single paidday? What is one of the main topics that the presidential candidatesstressed while campaigning? How come people like drug dealers get a bigadvantage in this world when it comes to pay taxes? And again, whatconsistently holds down the hard working American? I have found a way toanswer all those questions? This concept has actually found a way to taxeverybody, not just the working ones. This concept also makes it fair andeconomical to our federal government, not just the individual taxpayer. Under the implementation of this concept an individual could receive apaycheck and have virtually no taxes taken from it.

This 15% sales taxeliminates confusion, taxes everybody, and organizes the government in away that has never been done. Eliminating the confusion of distributing all of the taxes throughoutthe country would be in our government’s vital interest. Every two weeks Iwill go through the exact same ritual, I will receive my paycheck andfuriously tare it open to see how much money I will be able to lose in thenext two weeks. I’m always blessed with a beautiful number at the top thatis very fair and deserving for the hard work that I do on the weekly basis. Then I always see a whole bunch of abbreviations, different dollaramounts, then the number at the bottom that always seems to depress me; onethat is far less than the one on top I might add.

All this stress, andthen that unexpected bill we get in April. As it stands right now, thegovernment has individual taxes for individual needs. The key thing toremember is that regardless of what those needs may be, and the demand forthem allows money to get allotted. Under this 15% sales tax all the moneygoes to the federal government, and it is distributed as needed. Essentially, this makes the government more efficient, and much moresimple.

The most important and beneficial aspect of this tax is that it taxeseverybody. If there’s one thing that has always bothered me in this life,it is being able to see drug dealers, prostitutes, loan sharks, and ect. ,gain a financial edge in life over us because they have found a way tomanipulate the system illegally. As we all know, regardless of what’slegal or illegal, organized crime produces the most revenue from all bigbusinesses in the United States of America. The amount of money thatorganized crime brings to the US in an annual basis is unbelievably morethan what the biggest company in the US produces. This sales tax targetsorganized crime, and this is why: as it sits right now, we know thatorganized crime does not get taxed because they do not have legitimatework.

Under the implementation of this sales tax, they would all be taxed. Everybody in this world has to spend money on groceries, car repairs, theMcDonald’s big Mac, and things of that nature. Every time someone spendsmoney, they’re being taxed and it’s going to the federal government. Imagine being able to tax the money from organized crime. That money alonewill bring in more tax revenue to the federal government than any of us canimagine. For one moment, let’s put organized crime on the back burner, andconcentrate more on the working American.

Let’s simplify this concept andput it into terms that we can understand. The average worker paysapproximately 35% in taxes taking into account sales tax at nearly 8%, andapproximately 28% in income tax. Knowing those figures, now lets reducethat to 15%. Quite astonishing I might say.

The government needs to be run in an organized and efficient manner. Presently, there are many different areas where our tax money isdistributed. Our tax money goes to social security, state tax, federaltax, and much more. One thing that everybody is aware of is that differentareas of our government have different demands.

For example, socialsecurity in our country is in jeopardy. This is a big concern to people ofmy generation. The concern is that when we are of age to retire, therewill be no money to fund us. This plan let’s the government and the peoplework together to eliminate problems like this before they ever get started. Along with producing much more revenue, this also eliminates manygovernment jobs. These jobs will be eliminated because there won’t be somany different branches to our government.

We will now only need a selectfew to watch over the money, rather than having the whole chain of commandfor each and every department. Organization and efficiency in ourgovernment is key, and the less there is to worry about the better. While this concept is a good one, it’s not absolutely flawless. There are many wrinkles that indeed need to be ironed out. However, is agood starting block and something that could potentially change the countryand how it operates? Whether this plan should actually be utilized or not,is not the question. The question is, what is involved with it, and howdoes a benefit our country? While I have talked about social security, itis not quite know exactly how that would be funded.

Big businesses areanother concern in this concept. How will big businesses be taxed underthe implementation of this plan? The main objective to this plan stillstands tall; it eliminates confusion, taxes everybody, and creates anorganized government that we could all be proud of.
