UPDATE: You all are AMAZING! I worked through that problem successfully and just solved 5 more from my homework set!

@Omega_Byte99 Thinking of it as two separate 1D problems was a game-changer for me.
@LunarEclipse I'm trying your color-coding method right now and it's helping me keep everything straight.
@CyberVortex_21 Just downloaded Physics Studio and it's awesome to see how changing the variables affects the trajectory.

Honestly can't thank everyone enough for the physics homework help online. For the first time this semester, I actually feel like I might pass this class!

Late to this thread but for anyone still struggling with projectile motion or other physics hw help problems, I found this trick helpful: record yourself solving a problem while explaining each step out loud, then watch it back. Teaching it to yourself reinforces the concepts like crazy.

Also, essays.studymoose.com/ has these interactive physics problem solvers where you can input your own values and see how the solution changes. Great for building intuition!

best physics homework help resource i found was joining a study group tbh. when u take turns explaining concepts to each other, it forces u to really understand it.

also, don't forget about office hours! i was scared to go at first but my prof was actually super helpful when i brought specific questions and showed my work.

@ShadowX_99 That recording tip is brilliant! Never would have thought of that.

@EchoStorm! You're right about study groups. Anyone in Prof. Miller's PHY101 want to form one? We could meet in the library Thursday evenings?

Quick question for anyone still here - how do you approach problems with air resistance? We're starting that next week and I want to be prepared.

@Stealth_Raven air resistance makes the math WAY more complex because the differential equations don't have nice solutions anymore. for intro physics, they'll probably just have you use a constant drag force.

for more online physics homework help with air resistance, i found this online simulator that lets you toggle air resistance on/off to see the difference: [link]

also, physics can be tough but hang in there! once it clicks, it's actually pretty satisfying ✌️
