When she is explaining the different minorities, so in that reason she opens her arms to becoming open mindedness. She wants her audience to grow into becoming open-minded individuals, to understand diffrent people and how their cultures are. Coffer uses the Latin American customs to back up her argument, she explains that bright flashy colors is a norm for that culture, and because of that many white men don’t understand the complexity of the use of certain factors. Coffer announces the use of some forms of media to boost the stereotyping, an emotional connection is inevitable when reading, some people might see her text as non-reliable but it really has an example of white supremacy.

In the text coffer uses many quotes from songs and media, she uses them to make a long explanation. This essay is really just an essay but kind of has some poetic uses. Her essay flows like a speech would have. The text contains lots of long paragraphs with long sentences, the text flows together it goes to another experience and goes back to her argument. The many different media uses stand out to us because we as a non-Latin heritance see these as traditional and as a norm. Coffers strong words cause me to feel strongly impacted, they give me another viewpoint on the world. The author uses some figurative language but most of they come from quotes from different authors.

This text is powerful and changing, the theme is prejudice, the author tells of her over coming the struggles of stereotypes. When she uses the quotes and breaks it down to the origin and the meaning. In her essay coffer even explains how some of the belief systems of the Latin decent are scene. Coffer really is descriptive when talking about the white men who were suppressing the author; the odd thing is that both of her experiences involved a drunken white man who just had to be stupid.

In conclusion coffer was born and raised into a world where some people are very judgmental towards things they do not understand. Coffer uses her own story to support her claim, through this many minorities are also relating with her view. The author tells us of how many of the normal Spanish worded songs are judgmental to the Latin community, she tells us in a serious but hilarious way that media is a huge influence of stereotyping and hints to the audience that we can change it. Coffer is a warrior in the white dominated world by fighting the stupidity of being not mindful to the others that walk this earth. In conclusion the myth of the Latin American women is amusing to us but is hurtful to the people whom it is written to downgrade.
