With so many options out there in-2026, it's hard to know which ones are actually helpful versus which ones will just do the work for you (which I don't want - trying to actually learn!). I'm looking for tools that can explain concepts, help me work through problems, and maybe check my work - but not just generate answers. Anyone have recommendations for ethical AI tools that actually help you understand the material better?

Honestly, as someone drowning in assignments, I'm struggling to make this argument convincingly. Can anyone help me come up with solid points for keeping homework, even though it causes stress?
