CCCA GALLERY GUIDLINES
Please follow the guidelines below when submitting artwork to The Columbia County Council on the Arts for gallery exhibits.
Submissions: Works submitted must not have been exhibited in previous juried shows at CCCA and all works must be original.
Email Digital Submissions to: email@example.com. Please indicate in the subject line the name of the show you are submitting for.
Include in the Document: Artist Name, phone number and e-mail address, along with the Title, Medium, Size and Price of each submitted piece. (Incomplete information will exclude your work from being considered by the Juror.
Up to 3 images may be submitted in jpeg format, the largest dimension being a maximum of 1024 pixels.
Submission Fee: Non-members must pay a non-refundable submission fee of $25.00. The submission fee may be paid by check, made payable to CCCA, 209 Warren St., Hudson, NY 12534 (Check must be received by the due date for submissions), or you can click on the button below and pay by using PayPal. Payments through Pay Pal allow you to pay via your PayPal account or a credit card of your choice.
*Membership benefits include free submission to six annual shows, access to other juried and non-juried exhibition opportunities and venues, and multi-level discounts at restaurants, retail establishments, service providers and hospitality venues in and outside of Columbia county, throughout the year. ||Artwork Submission Fee
Selected artwork MUST be gallery ready, framed and wired for exhibition. No saw toothed hangers are permitted. Work not delivered in this condition will not be hung. No exceptions.
In some cases artists may be asked to provide their own pedestals or protective display box or may be required to install their own work should it prove to be heavy or require special handling.
Notice of Acceptance: Artists will be notified of acceptance within two weeks after submission date.
Artwork must be priced for sale and CCCA retains a 30% commission on all sales.
Installation Fee: Accepted works are subject to a $10 Installation Fee for the first piece, and a $5 fee for each successive work. All artists, members and nonmembers, are responsible to pay the installation fee, payable at time of dropoff. If, for whatever reason, CCCA finds that artist has not paid the installation fee, the artwork will not be displayed.
Pick Up and Drop Off: Selected artists will be notified of drop off and pick up dates. All artists are required to pick up their work(s) on the dates posted. If artists cannot pick up their works they should make arrangements for someone else to do so. A storage fee of $30 will be charged for works not picked up as scheduled. CCCA assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to artwork not timely picked up and after 30 days artwork will become the property of CCCA. CCCA has NO STORAGE AREAS and requires that artists take away any packing materials used to transport artworks to the gallery.
Gallery Sitting: CCCA requires all exhibiting artists to assist in gallery sitting.
