My work is inspired by creating images that amplify the extraordinary in the ordinary and finding value in the discarded. . This is expressed through the subject matter and recycling discarded material such as found glass, old frames or weathered metal. These acquired materials are incorporated into the glass piece , resulting in a combination of semi realism within an abstract landscape.
Medium:
*Experienced in traditional leaded stained glass and kiln fired glass painting techniques, including glass fusing, glass slumping and stained glass window restoration
*also works with watercolor, acrylic and oil paint as a medium of visual expression.
